In 2022, DFL Fitouts and Joinery completed the first ever Pret A Manger store in Ireland located on Dawson Street, in Dublin 2. Over the last 18 months, DFL has completed 4 more outlets at Clery’s Quarter, Connolly Station, Houston Station and on Hatch Street. They say “never judge a book by its cover” although hopefully the following library images – projects which our specialist Fitouts & Joinery Division were responsible for manufacturing and installing all joinery elements on, will help demonstrate another aspect of our fitout experience. Projects include Portlaoise Library which opened recently, Athy Library and Waterford City Library which we completed nearly 20 years ago at this stage.

DFL Fitouts & Joinery have just completed the refurbishment of Waterford Marina Hotel, which is operated and owned by the JMK Group since 2016. This project involved the complete renovation of eighty-two guest bedrooms, ground floor spaces including the 1843 bar, new elva restaurant, and reception areas. The design of the hotel interiors was led by MILLIMETRE DESIGN with whom DFL work with on an on-going basis. We’ve included images of the new 1831 Bar, the Elva restaurant and the Junior Riverview Suite. Thanks to #Larry Bowe hotel manager who was great to work with on the project and to #Dale Power who managed the works on site for DFL and ensured the hotel operated as normal throughout the works.

Introducing The Pharmacy by Mulligans, located on the Lower Ground Floor of Arnotts Department Store, which was completed by our Fitout & Joinery Division before Christmas and is the first pharmacy in Dublin for Mulligans Pharmacy Group another very successful Waterford Company for whom we have completed numerous projects over the years. The Pharmacy by Mulligans is 3,000 sq. feet and includes in-store robotics with Ireland’s first automated Click & Collect service for a pharmacy as well as covering all your healthcare needs from vitamins and supplements, to prescriptions, well-being, beauty and more…

DFL UK are currently fitting out 7 Herbrand Street, part of London’s Knowledge Quarter for flexible workspace provider LABS. In an announcement earlier this week it was confirmed that Thought Machine, the core banking technology company, has agreed to lease all 67,000 sq ft, at 7 Herbrand Street, WC1, which blends state-of-the-art workspace facilities, breakout, wellbeing and client zones as well as a café, bar and roof terrace.
